[Email - To: All]
Hello all,
The internet room's about to close so I haven't got time for much of an email now.
I haven't updated the webpage yet either, but I've been keeping a journal so I've got it all written down, and I'll try and put something up next time.
Haven't met the Tanzanian volunteers yet, so far staying in a sort of college in a town called Morogoro - it's a bit cut-off and very nice, so it's an easy introduction to weather, food (the beans are lovely - I'm not kidding!), etc. Although I'd rather not have been introduced to some of the food - I've had diarrhoea already! I'd rather be ill here than when I'm on placement in a village, so can't complain too much. The Oral Rehydration solution I've been drinking tastes like Selly Oak swimming pool though.
Swahili's been fun though - lots of talking to random people and picking their brains. Meeting the Tanzanian volunteers for training in Njomba on Sunday, so that will be fun - we've got to come up with something to entertain them (apparently they're doing the same with us)!
I think that's about it for the moment
Baadaye (later)
Phil :)
