Norman, who's producing Inspector Drake's Last Case at the Blackmore Theatre, just rang me to tell me John (who was going to play Inspector Drake) is dropping out, and so he's having a bit of a shuffle and I'll be playing Mr Butler the Guest.
It's a bit of an odd part, and I didn't have a crack at it at the audition because I couldn't quite get my head around what Norman wanted, but it'll be a bit of a giggle, I'm sure. He's wants a complete weirdo, and I think I can manage that. Just act naturally.
