It's Giardia!!! Which is really nice because not only is it something no one else has had yet, but it also means it's different to the previous diarrhoea, and hence completely unrelated and non-recurrent. And very very noisy.
HOORAH!! Althea (the American girl) has found out today that she has typhoid, too, so between us and Lauren (who had malaria a couple of weeks ago), we've pretty much cavered all bases. It's lovely the way we all congratulate each other on being ill - it's something to add to the CV, as Adam says, so we all try and view it as a positive thing. Nice to have a genuine reason for being ill too, rather than just namby-pamby
generic squits.
Very disappointed only to be on one type of medication, though - something called Cozan, I think. Very tasteful pinky orange tablets (the colouring is Lake of Sunset Yellow, and Titanium dioxide) - tasteful, but not tasty. They're a blend of antibiotic and amoebacide, which all sounds very exotic.
I seem to have lots of spare time for once, but very little to do with it, as my mind has gone blank - even though I've spent most of my time searching for things to do next year. Feeling quite adventurous (but in a luxurious kind of way, this time, methinks) and thinking about finding something to do in France for a few months (quite taken with the idea of living in Paris - bit of culture can't do me too much harm), and actually putting my French A Level to some use. The main issue is money, and exactly what to do - job, study, volunteer (hmm, maybe scrub that last one). Study is easiest to search for, so I'm concentrating on that for the moment. Actually, if anyone has any ideas that'd be really nice of you.
Nope, can't be bothered writing any more.
Byesy-bye
Phil :)
