Argh!!! Driving again!!!

Don't worry, it's not a euphemism for diarrhoea this time (phew!) - I had my first driving lesson in 11 months yesterday. It was all very promising - my arm was a bit tense, and I was a little hesitant, and better observation could have helped me avoid a number of nearly-near-crash incidents, but my feet and hands seemed to remember what to do.

Shame that my driving instructor is retiring in a couple of weeks, and I'm moving to Exeter anyway. That means I'll have to find someone new and get used to a new car, but I should pass by the end of February, as I was already pretty advanced before I left for Tanzania.

I might be going on a nine-day trek through the Moroccan Sahara in March, which could be quite exciting. The SPW email-newsletter gave some sparse information about it a couple of days ago, so I want to find out more first, but I haven't exactly got anything else planned.

I'm also planning on not earning any money in January and February, as I really want to get all my volunteer experience gubbins in some kind of intelligible form. So I could well be spending those two months writing stuff up - possibly putting it into a proper website, with a proper URL and everything!

That could mean that this blog moves somewhere else, and I'm not sure whether blogger would automatically redirect you or not. Hmmm... I'm sure I'll find a solution.
