Cleanout

Tried to find my GCSE certificates last night, so that I can prove to St Lukes that I passed Maths and English. This involved emptying my entire cupboard all over the room, not actually finding anything of use, and wondering why I've hoarded so much crap.

So the entire evening was spent saying "bye-bye" to most of my A Level and degree notes. Man, that felt good. And everything goes back into the cupboard without me having to try. I also now have lots of empty files I can use next year. Job's a good 'un

I came across a few interesting things to do with school, though - like the goodbye book which loads of people signed when we finished. A remarkable proportion of which refer to "northerners", "thieving" and "slashing tyres". I was well-liked down there, obviously.

Made me wonder why I kept in touch with so few people. There might be a bit of a reunion in the new year, though, so hopefully a few people I really liked will be there. I actually got on with people in Colyton, unlike at St Ambrose up north, so it could be good fun.

The heating wasn't working again this morning, but they're making up for it now by having it on full blast. Muppets. There's a big wet patch in the middle of the carpet too, where the water cooler leaked overnight, so it's just like being back in Griffin Close, my hall in my first year at university.
