Finally got to meet the lovely Hannah last night; she's the local joinee who owed me a KitKat. Her brother's band (Reeko) were playing their last ever gig at the Cavern Club in Exeter, so I went along and met her there.
It was rather hot though, so the KitKat had to be consumed there and then under less-than-ideal KitKat conditions: ie melting and mixed with beer to a punk rock beat. Not my cup of tea really, but Hannah's brother's mate's band showed more imagination than most, and it's always fascinating to watch a mosh pit.
All in all quite good fun really, and acquired a lift home into the bargain. And, of course, sparkling company throughout.
