Free Donations - You Just Have To Click!

My friend and fellow joinee Bing has set up a pledge at Pledge Bank for going to free charity donation sites. It only takes a few minutes and costs you nothing, but raises money for charity. I think they work like this: You click on a button on their site, and a page appears with a few adverts on it. The advertising revenue goes to the charity. You don't have to follow links to the adverts or anything.

Anyway, the young lady herself explains it much better...

"I will visit The Hunger Site, Stop The Hunger, Free Donation AND Ecology Fund and make as many free donations as these sites will allow EVERYDAY for 2 weeks but only if 20 other people will too."

If 20 people visited these sites everyday, and clicked on all the free donation buttons, then the following will be donated or protected for free in just ONE day:

400 donations to cancer research
20 donations to help women get free mammograms
288 cups of food for the hungry
100 hours in a homeless shelter
400 pencils for schools
5928 square feet of rainforest(wow!! per DAY!)
66 vaccines for children
400 donations to Aids research
400 donations to the arts
20 pollution credits (dont know quite what this means but I am reckoning it's a good thing!!)
120 bowls of food for animals in shelters or rescue centres
400 square foot of coastal habitat
20 donations to childrens health
395 square feet of nature reserves in Mexico, Canada and Scotland
340 square feet of wilderness in America
20 square foot of Marine wilderness
20 donations to buy books for children

Thats pretty amazing. I bet Superman couldn't do all that in just FIVE minutes!

Yet that's all the time it takes.

Remember:
At The Hunger Site there are 6 seperate buttons for you to click.
At Free Donation you can click on each button TWENTY times! AND there are 8 seperate buttons for you to click.
At Ecology Fund there are five seperate buttons to click

And all that^^ that is in just ONE day.
Multiply it by 14, and thats how much we can achieve in a fortnight.
AND you dont even have to leave your desk!!
