Another "Where Do You Stand?" site

PoliticalSurvey2005.com (via New Links)

Very interesting this one - places you on a scattergraph, which hopefully I can reproduce here (click to enlarge). I'm definitely not quite so internationalist as they think though - I agreed strongly we should stay in Europe, because we're better in than out, but I don't really believe it works all that well.

This graph shows where your views place you by comparison with the rest of the population. Your horizontal position is affected by your views on crime and punishment and internationalism, and your vertical position by your views on the economy and (among other things) military intervention overseas.

Each coloured dot on the graph shows the position of a single voter for one of the major parties as identified from our opinion poll. Overall, the distribution of those dots shows how the views of the British public as a whole are arranged, and how people of different views vote.

Crime and punishment, internationalism

Your position on this axis is -5.7
You are likely to be very internationalist and rehabilitationist.

Economics, etc

Your position on this axis is 0.3
You are likely to be centrist.

Comparisons

This table shows an overview of how the rest of the population compares to you:

More rehabilitationist, internationalist About the same More punitive, isolationist
More free-market, pro-war0.0%0.5%18.2%
About the same0.2%2.2%47.7%
More socialist, anti-war0.3%2.0%28.8%

And so it goes on, but I won't bother putting all the stats here.

And according to PoliticalCompass.org, I'm a Libertarian Leftist, just slightly to the right of Ghandi, and quite a long way to the left of the LibDems, who are actually on the right of the spectrum.

I'm actually closest to the Greens.
